Abdur Rob, 62 years, Tongue cancer, Failed Chemotherapy and radiotherapy

Abdur Rob is a 60-year-old man who developed cancer in his tongue five years ago. He undertook radiation therapy, but the disease was still not cured. We removed the whole cancer-inflicted tongue and reconstructed a new one using chest muscle. Because of this, he has been able to eat food, talk and maintain his normal life for the last four years. He is extremely happy and grateful, as he was in very poor health and near to death. Four years for a cancer patient is a long time.
